1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "user", "couple") and B² Wedding ("we", "us", "our"), governing your access to and use of the B² Wedding website (b2wedding.com) and mobile application (collectively, the "Platform").
By registering an account, clicking "Create Account & Get Started", or otherwise using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
If you are using the Platform on behalf of another person (e.g. as a wedding planner), you represent that you have the authority to bind that person to these Terms.
2. Description of the Service
B² Wedding is a private wedding management platform that allows couples and their teams to:
- Manage guest lists and RSVP requests
- Send personalised digital invitations via unique access codes
- Collect and moderate a collaborative wedding photo album
- Track wedding budgets, vendors, and expenses
- Receive cash gifts via mobile money (MoMo) and Paystack
- Manage the wedding programme (Order of Service)
- Access a companion mobile application (iOS and Android)
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Platform at any time, with or without notice. We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of material changes where practicable.
3. Accounts & Registration
To access the full Platform you must register an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain the security of your password and access credentials
- Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
Each account is associated with one wedding. Up to three users (primary couple, partner, and wedding planner) may be added to a single wedding account. You may not share your account credentials with persons outside this team.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that we believe, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or is used in a manner that is harmful to the Platform, other users, or guests.
4. Plans & Payment
Free (Starter) Plan
You may use the Starter plan at no cost, subject to the usage limits described on our Pricing page (including limits on guests, photos, vendor categories, vendors, and payment entries). These limits may be updated from time to time.
Premium Plan
The Premium plan is available for a one-time, non-refundable payment of USD 29.99 (or its Ghana Cedi equivalent at the time of payment). Upgrading to Premium unlocks higher limits for the lifetime of your wedding account.
The Premium price displayed at the time of your upgrade is the price you will pay. However, we reserve the right to change the Premium price at any time without prior notice. Any price change takes effect for new purchases only — it does not affect accounts that have already completed a Premium upgrade. We encourage you to check the current price on our Pricing page before initiating payment.
Payments are processed by Paystack, a third-party payment gateway. By initiating a payment, you also agree to Paystack's terms of service. We do not store your card details.
All payments are final. We do not offer refunds once a Premium upgrade has been successfully processed, except where required by applicable Ghanaian consumer protection law.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You must not:
- Upload, share, or transmit content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate any guest, couple, or other user of the Platform
- Upload photos or content to which you do not have the right (e.g. copyright material)
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, another user's account, or our servers
- Use the Platform to collect or store personal data about individuals without their knowledge or consent
- Use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to access the Platform without our prior written permission
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Platform or any content within it
6. Your Guests' Data & Your Responsibility
When you add guests to B² Wedding (by direct entry or RSVP approval), you become a data controller for those guests' personal information under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
You agree to:
- Only add guests who have consented, or who could reasonably expect, to receive a wedding invitation from you
- Use guest data solely for the purpose of managing your wedding
- Not export or share guest data with third parties beyond what is necessary for your wedding
- Inform guests that their data is processed via B² Wedding and provide them with a link to our Privacy Policy on request
7. Intellectual Property
Our Content
All software, design elements, graphics, text, and other content making up the B² Wedding Platform ("Our Content") are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Our Content without our prior written consent.
Your Content
You retain ownership of any photos, messages, or other content you or your guests upload to the Platform ("Your Content"). By uploading Your Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Platform's services to you.
We will never use Your Content for advertising, marketing, or any purpose beyond operating the Platform without your explicit consent.
8. Photo Storage & Retention
We will store all approved wedding photos uploaded to your account for a period of at least one (1) year from the date of your wedding event as recorded in your wedding settings. This obligation applies regardless of whether your account is on the Starter or Premium plan.
After the one-year retention period has elapsed, we reserve the right to permanently delete all photos and associated media files from our servers at any time and without prior notice, in order to manage hosting costs and server capacity. We will endeavour to send a reminder email to the registered account holder at least 30 days before scheduled deletion, but we cannot guarantee delivery of such notices.
You are strongly advised to download and back up all wedding photos before the one-year period expires. B² Wedding provides a "Download All" feature in the admin dashboard for this purpose. We accept no liability whatsoever for any loss, unavailability, or permanent deletion of photos after the one-year retention period, including any indirect, sentimental, or consequential loss arising from such deletion.
If your wedding date has not been set in your account settings, the one-year retention period shall be calculated from the date your account was created.
9. Force Majeure
B² Wedding shall not be held liable or responsible for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from any cause or circumstance beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Acts of God, natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, storms, or other extreme weather events
- War, armed conflict, terrorism, civil unrest, or government-imposed sanctions or restrictions
- Pandemic, epidemic, or public health emergency declared by a national or international authority
- Power outages, internet or telecommunications failures, or widespread infrastructure disruptions
- Failure or disruption of third-party services including cloud hosting providers, payment gateways (e.g. Paystack), or email delivery services
- Cyberattacks, malware, ransomware, or other malicious acts by third parties that are outside our reasonable control despite reasonable security measures
- Actions or inactions of governmental or regulatory authorities, including changes in law or regulation
- Server hardware failure or data centre outages caused by our hosting provider
In the event of a Force Majeure occurrence, our obligations under these Terms shall be suspended for the duration of the event. We will use reasonable endeavours to notify affected users and to resume normal service as soon as practicable. A Force Majeure event shall not entitle you to a refund of any Premium payment already made.
If a Force Majeure event results in the permanent loss of user data — including photos — B² Wedding shall not be liable for such loss, provided that we have taken reasonable steps to implement and maintain appropriate backup and recovery procedures prior to the event.
10. Availability & Disclaimers
We aim to keep B² Wedding available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by Ghanaian law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We are not responsible for loss or corruption of data resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control, including hardware failure, network outages, or third-party service failures.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, B² Wedding shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Platform.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or, if you are on the Starter (free) plan, GH₵ 0).
Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, as prohibited by Ghanaian law.
12. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your Account & Team settings page. Upon deletion, your wedding data (guests, photos, transactions) will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations and the photo retention policy set out in Section 8.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if we determine, at our sole discretion, that you have materially breached these Terms. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any Premium payment already made.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you by email (if we hold your email address) at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
